When we took over ownership of United Flexible two years ago – we may have bought the business but we didn’t buy the way it was doing business.
We knew the sector was long overdue a shake-up and saw an opportunity for a new modern, globally focused player to introduce a fresher pro-active attitude, more energy and a genuine desire to add value for our customers and make their life easier.
We set about a total overhaul. We wanted to create a single game-changing brand – with the scale and scope to build real competitive edge for New Zealand businesses.

We’d offer more of what customers want and give real quality service - based on old fashioned concepts as care, responsiveness, trust, respect and shared aspiration.
Now rebranded as BOA - named for the powerful, big, fast yet flexible king of pressure, the Boa constrictor - we’ve brought the world’s most respected hydraulics and industrial products together for the first time to deliver through our retail outlets, online and on-site.
As BOA we’re please to be the newly appointed Yokohama distributor and original supplier to more than 30 International brands including Hitachi, Komatsu and Kobelco. We’ll continue to innovate, customise and manufacture own products under our new BOA name.
